This guide explains how to configure and manage notification settings per screen within your account, ensuring you stay informed about screen status changes (e.g., when a player goes offline or comes back online).
Configuring Notifications for a Screen
Where can I find this setting?
Each screen allows customized notification settings. You can define:
When to be notified if a player goes offline.
Whether to receive notifications during scheduled turn off, working hours, etc.
Whether to receive alerts when the player comes back online.
Who the notification recipients are.
Email Notification Timing
Set how long the system should wait before sending an offline alert:
Do not notify – No email is sent.
30 minutes
2 hours
6 hours
12 hours
Custom – Any duration between 30 minutes and 48 hours, in 30-minute intervals.
Notifications During Scheduled Turn off, Working Hours, etc
This setting defines whether you receive alerts when a screen is manually turned offor goes offline.

All newly created/invited users will get the notifications
Workspaces & Notifications
If screens are moved between workspaces:
All users can access the new workspace → All remain in the list.
Some users lack access → Only users with access to both old and new workspaces stay in the list.
Editing Notification Settings
Per Screen
Users can edit notification settings for each screen individually from the Screens List View.
Bulk Editing
You can apply changes to multiple screens at once:
Per Workspace or Across Workspaces
Options:
Change Setup – Modify all notification options. Existing settings will be overwritten.
Add/Remove Recipients – Modify the recipient list only. Setup options remain unchanged.
User Profile Notification Settings
Each user has global notification preferences in their Profile Settings:
Status
Description
Enabled (Opted In)
The user is eligible to receive notifications from the screens to which they are subscribed.
Disabled (Opted Out)
User remains subscribed but will not receive emails.
If a user re-enables notifications, they resume receiving alerts for screens where they are listed.
How Notifications Work
The system sends email notifications based on the following logic:
A player goes offline.
The offline duration is tracked.
When the configured threshold is reached, an email is sent to the mailing list.
If the “notify when back online” option is enabled:
An email is sent within 5 minutes of the player reconnecting.
Unsubscribing from Email Notifications
Users can opt out from within an email. When they do:
They are removed from the mailing list.
They no longer receive notifications.
If they opt back in, they will be re-alerted for subscribed screens.
Adding New Screens
When users add new screens to the portal, those screens:
Inherit the default notification settings (6 hours) defined by the system.
