Amazon FireOS Limitations

There are currently some limitations. These are:

  1. Turning the TV on and off remotely using CEC: For Amazon FireTVs and Sticks/Android devices, the screen will turn black instead of turning on or off.
  2. Fire TV – 3rd Gen (2017) –>NOT supported.
  3. Fire TV – 1st Gen (2014) –>NOT supported.
  4. Fire TV Stick 4K – 2nd Gen (2023) –> It does not automatically open the Yodeck app on bootup.
  5. YouTube Video/Audio live stream –>NOT supported.
  6. Vimeo Video/Audio live stream –>NOT supported.
