Screen Takeover
The Screen Takeover feature allows you to override a screen’s default or scheduled content to display ad hoc content. This is useful for situations like announcements or special events. While you can always reassign default content on a per-screen basis, the Screen Takeover feature enables you to temporarily assign content to multiple screens quickly.
How to takeover a screen:
- Select the screens you want to take over.
- Click on Actions, then choose Takeover Screen.
Alternatively, you can:
- Go to a specific screen’s Configuration page and select Takeover.
- Select a piece of media, click Actions, then choose Set to Screen, and select Takeover.
The takeover can last as long as you specify, or it can be displayed indefinitely.
