Current Weather app
Engage your audience with real-time weather updates using the Current Weather app for digital signage. Display accurate, localized information to help viewers plan their day effectively. Boost your displays with dynamic weather visuals like sunny, rainy, or snowy animations that capture attention. Tailor your messaging based on weather conditions to add relevance, whether promoting products or events. Ideal for the hospitality, tourism, and transportation industries, this app ensures travelers and visitors are well-prepared for their journey or stay.
- Go to the apps tab.
- Select the current weather app.
- Enter a name for the app.
- Optionally, provide a description.
- Choose to either display the weather of the player’s location or toggle this off to search for a specific location.
- Optionally, add a location header to customize the name of the location displayed on screen, or leave the box blank to apply the location name automatically.
- Personalize the color theme and font of the app.
- Set the default duration for how long the app will appear in a playlist.
- Leave ‘availability’ unticked if you don’t want to schedule the app.
- To schedule the app, toggle on availability and set the start and expiration dates.
- Click save to finalize, and your app will be ready to use.
